His design career has been linked to poster design. He has designed over 300 posters that respond to a universal language type and image.  He received an Honorary Mention at the 1978 VI Poster Biennal in Varsovia, a Gold Medal at the 1982 25th International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Leipzig, a Merit Award from the Art Directors Club in 1993, International Cover for Print Portfolio.  In 1999 he designed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights poster for Durban, South Africa and for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  Recently he design the oficial 2002 calendar for the United Nations and for the 50th celebration of the International Graphic Alliance.
